  Roller Bearings

Roller bearings are more diverse than ball bearings and their rolling elements can be of differing shapes and can carry greater loads than ball bearings. For example, cylindrical roller bearings will accommodate heavy radial loads, whereas sphericals will carry heavy radial loads combined with moderate thrust loads.

SPHERICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Spherical roller bearings have two rows of rollers that run on a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. They are used when heavy axial and radial loads are present and accurate alignment can not be guaranteed. More

  CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS

Cylindrical roller bearings are designed to carry heavy radial loads and are suitable for high speed applications. Their rolling elements are ground to provide maximum contact with the raceway and are precisely crowned to avoid edge loading due to shaft misalignment. More

  TAPERED ROLLER BEARINGS

Tapered roller bearings are designed to take combined heavy radial loads and heavy thrust loads in one direction while operating at moderate speeds. Metric tapers feature a simplified part number for a complete bearing. Inch tapers require a part number for the cup and one for the cone. More
